3 Ways to Spice Up Your Dessert Table for Eid

We are officially in the last ten days of Ramadan and just like every year I'm so shocked at how fast this blessed month is flying by. Ramadan is truly such a special time for me and I'm so so sad that is coming to end soon. I know most of us have begun prepping our homes and hearts for Eid so today I wanted to share 3 quick and effortless additions to spice up your dessert table for Eid using affordable products from ModernEid.

ModernEid is a small online business that creates stylish and affordable products for the modern Muslim home. They pride themselves in creating high-quality unique decorations with the mission of bringing underrepresented products and holidays to the masses. It's a women-owned and woman-led business and I'm so excited to be working with them to bring you 3 easy ideas to give your dessert table a festive look without any added work.

I started decorating my table by adding a white table linen and repurposed my ivory table runner. I styled modernEid's beautiful gold acrylic crescent & star into a floral centerpiece and hung up honeycomb paper Moroccan lanterns for some simple yet festive table decor. Next was creating a dessert menu and I decided to make a few desserts and purchase a few from the store to allow myself to feel relaxed while prepping for Eid.

1. Tropical Fruit Layered Trifle

It may not be officially summer, but it is mango season and I try to add it to any dish possible. This mixed fruit trifle is super versatile and can be customized to fit any taste palette. I used a mix of strawberries, kiwi, blueberry, and of course mango but you can use whatever you like. I started layering my trifle with tangy lemon pound cake, vanilla custard, tropical fruit, and topped it with some whip cream and silvered almonds. The combination of the tangy berries, the sweet mango and velvety custard is just a explosion of flavor in your mouth. And the best part is that you can assemble these 24-48 hours before your event and store them in the fridge. What's not to love?! You can find the full recipe here. I dressed up these individual trifles with the cutest white Happy Eid acrylic picks. It adds an elegant and unique touch!

2. Donut Stacks

One of my favorite and hassle-free technique is dressing up store bought desserts. As much as I wish to do it all, sometimes it's just not possible. I love these modern acrylic picks that allowed me to create these cute and pinterest-worthy mini donut stacks. The gold crescent is so unique and adds the perfect modern touch. You can also use these picks on cupcakes, donut holes, truffles, or any of your favorite store made dessert.

3. Frozen Caramel Coffee

We all are deprived of caffeine for the month so why not serve up a delicious chilled coffee to enjoy your Eid celebrations. I'm a huge coffee drinker and especially love iced coffee, so this is the perfect drink you can whip up in less than 5 minutes. You can brew you coffee and let it chill in the fridge overnight or even use your favorite cold brew from the store. I blended 3 cups of chilled coffee with 2 cups of whole milk, 1/4 cup of caramel syrup, and 4 cups of ice. Pop everything into your blender and that's it. Delicious, refreshing, and so quick! This is another super versatile recipe because you can swap out the milk for your favorite creamer or non-dairy milk and can even change up the flavor syrups.

I think serving a cold drink on Eid is the perfect addition to your dessert table. These adorable gold foil flag stickers from modernEid are perfect for any refreshing drink you serve and it only takes a few seconds to stick them to your straws.

I hope these quick and effortless ideas are helpful in your Eid planning! You can shop these unique Eid decorations and more on modernEid's website and if you use my code "mominaxme10" you can save 10% on your order. I wish you and your family a very happy and safe Eid Mubarak!
