Iced Rose Latte

There may be snow on the forecast tomorrow, but I am happy sipping on my iced rose latte pretending like spring is here. If you haven't noticed yet, rose-flavored desserts and drinks are right up my alley and I'm always experimenting with it in the kitchen. A few months ago, I had the Iced Coffee Rose from Philz Coffee and I had to come home and make my own latte version.

I normally only make hot or iced coffee at home and rarely ever make latte's, but I can't stop making this rose latte! It has just the right amount of sweetness and drinking it is so refreshing and delicately floral.

The recipe uses both rose syrup and rose water, but it tastes great with just the rose syrup if that's all you have. If you prefer hot lattes, you can omit the ice and heat up your milk. I hope you try this quick and delicious recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk of choice

  • 2 shots of espresso

  • 1 teaspoon of rose syrup

  • 1-2 drops rose water

  • ½ teaspoon of honey or sweetener of choice

  • Ice

  • Optional: edible rose petals to garnish

Recipe:

  1. Brew your espresso.

  2. Froth or whisk together milk, rose syrup, rose water, and honey until it turns foamy.

  3. Add ice in a glass, top with frothy milk, add in the espresso shot and stir together.

  4. Top with rose petals and enjoy!
